Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (the Bureau) has granted extensions of waivers for certain Lifeline program rules. The Bureau has found good cause to extend prior waivers of the Lifeline program rules that govern reverification, recertification, income documentation, general de-enrollment, and documentation requirements for subscribers residing in rural areas on Tribal lands through December 31, 2021.
