The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB) has released a public notice establishing a service delivery date for the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF). The public notice sets June 30, 2022 as the service delivery date for equipment and other non-recurring service funding requests for the ECF Program’s initial filing window, if the equipment and services have not been received at the time the funding request is made.
In that public notice, WCB also modifies applicant certification language in the FCC’s rules, to clarify that applicants may request ECF funding for eligible equipment and services that have not yet been ordered for the upcoming school year—July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
