The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau has released a Public Notice announcing updates made to its Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program Frequently Asked Questions. The updated FAQs provide: (1) that the cost of replacing non-Huawei or ZTE network equipment that is not compatible with replacement equipment is a reimbursable cost; and (2) that the FCC will allow for the reallocation of unclaimed funds among affiliated Reimbursement Program participants post allocation. The Bureau recommends that applicants regularly consult the Supply Chain webpage for updates and that questions specific to the Reimbursement Program be directed to the Reimbursement Program Fund Administrator Help Desk at SCRPFundAdmin@fcc.gov or at (202) 418-7540.
The application filing window for the Reimbursement Program will close on January 14, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET.
