The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has extended the filing deadline for Alaska Plan mobile providers to submit drive-test data from the previous deadline of March 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022. Under the Alaska Plan Order, Alaska Plan participants are required to submit drive-test data to demonstrate their compliance with performance obligations. The Bureau determined that the previous deadline should be extended given that the Bureau has neither adopted the Alaska Drive-Test Model nor created stratified random samples for providers to use to test the state of their network. Both of these items need to be provided to participants before they can collect drive-test data.
