Gigi Sohn has announced that she has withdrawn her nomination for the fifth FCC Commissioner seat. Sohn notified the White House of her decision and in her published statement, Sohn cited to the “unrelenting, dishonest and cruel attacks on my character and my career as an advocate for the public interest” that “have taken an enormous toll on me and my family” that played a big part in her decision.
