The FCC has announced the release of the revised versions of its annual and quarterly Telecommunications Reporting Worksheets (FCC Forms 499-A and 499-Q, respectively) as well as the accompanying instructions for each form. The revised Form 499-A must be used to report 2013 revenues by the April 1, 2014 filing deadline. Among other things, these form revisions include new sample reseller certification language. The FCC urges filers and resellers to carefully review the revisions and note any modifications that may need to be made to existing reseller certifications in order to take advantage of the “safe harbor” described in the FCC’s 2012 Wholesaler-Reseller Clarification Order.
