Representative August Pfluger (R-TX) has introduced a bill that would provide full funding for the FCC’s Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act Reimbursement Program. Specifically, the bill would appropriate funds from a re-auction of AWS-3 band licenses and would allow the FCC to conduct the auction regardless of whether Congress restores its lapsed auction authority. A companion bill in the Senate was introduced in March.
