The FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has announced that the FCC’s Universal Licensing System will now accept applications for temporary fixed stations, in portions of the 6 GHz band, to register before commencing their operations. The registration of temporary fixed stations will allow the automated frequency coordination systems to accurately determine available channels for unlicensed standard-power operations.
Licensees can login to ULS here to register their temporary fixed stations. Licensees will be required to enter technical information regarding the station and also input the start and end date of the temporary fixed license.
