President Trump has signed an Executive Order (EO) to expedite permitting for infrastructure projects to spur economic growth and speed the nation’s recovery after the coronavirus pandemic. The EO directs federal agencies, including Interior, Agriculture and Defense Departments and the Army Corps of Engineers, to use emergency powers to accelerate the siting of infrastructure on federal lands.
