The FCC’s International Bureau (Bureau) is inviting parties to test its new Part 43 online filing system that will be used for annual reports of U.S. providers of international services and circuits. Concurrent with this request, the Bureau has released a filing manual with instructions for submitting the annual reports. The new online system is being developed as a result of the FCC’s January 2013 order that revised the annual reporting requirements for international service providers by consolidating them into one rule – Section 43.62. Test participants will be asked to simulate an online filing and provide feedback which will be used to make changes that will improve system usability. Those interested in participating must email Irene Wu (Irene.Wu@fcc.gov), by no later than October 31, 2014, because testing will start in November 2014.
