The National Telecommunications and Information Administration has issued a Request for Comments seeking public input on how NTIA should design and implement two Digital Equity Programs: the $1.44 billion State Digital Capacity Grant Program; and the $1.25 billion Digital Equity Competition Grant Program. NTIA will use the received public input to develop its Notice of Funding Opportunity for each program. Comments are due May 1 and must be filed via regulations.gov in docket number NTIA-2023-0002. A series of public virtual listening sessions on the programs will be announced at a later date.
