North Carolina has launched its challenge process for the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program. Local and tribal governments, broadband providers, and nonprofits can submit data challenging eligible locations for inclusion in the BEAD program, which launches in early 2025. The deadline to submit challenges is October 3 at 11:59 p.m. North Carolina received $1.53 billion in BEAD funding.
