The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced it will hold an E-Rate Modernization Workshop on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. The workshop will allow E-Rate stakeholders and FCC staff to discuss the challenge of delivering high-speed broadband connectivity to and within schools and libraries, and will generally cover issues related to the FCC’s E-Rate modernization proceeding. The workshop will be free and open to the public, and will be streamed live at www.fcc.gov/live. Final details concerning the workshop agenda and panelists will be released in the coming weeks.
