The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has issued a Public Notice seeking nominations for six board member positions on the Universal Service Administrative Company Board of Directors. Each board member serves for a three-year term. Board member positions are open to nomination for a representative of: (1) incumbent local exchange carriers; (2) competitive local exchange carriers; (3) interexchange carriers; (4) low-income consumers; (5) schools that are eligible to receive discounts; and (6) rural health care providers that are eligible to receive supported services. Nominations are due by October 24, 2023.
