The FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau seeks comment on Rolka Loube Associates’, the Interstate Telecommunications Relay Services Fund (TRS) administrator, proposed provider compensation formulas for the period from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. Rolka Loube proposes $4.5098 for interstate traditional TRS, $5.6408 for interstate speech-to-speech relay service, and $2.3419 for interstate captioned telephone service. The Bureau seeks comment on whether these proposed formulas correctly apply the Multi-state Average Rate Structure methodology and on Rolka Loube’s specific demand projections and funding requirements. The FCC will address compensation for the VRS, IP CTS, and IP Relay in separate actions.
Comments are due by May 31, 2022 and reply comments are due by June 7, 2022.
