The FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau is seeking comment on a petition for declaratory ruling filed by Perdue for Senate, Inc. Perdue has requested that the Commission clarify that voice message delivery through ringless voicemail technology does not constitute a call that is subject to certain prohibitions under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Comments are due October 4 and reply comments are due October 19.
