The FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has released a Public Notice seeking comment on its proposal to require mobile participants in the Alaska Plan to continue to file mobile deployment data consistent with the previous FCC Form 477 filings as opposed to the new Broadband Data Collection. Comments on the Public Notice are due 15 days after Federal Register publication, which has not yet occurred, and reply comments are due 25 days after Federal Register publication.
The Public Notice also provided information for mobile recipients of funding from the Bringing Puerto Rico Together Fund and Connect USVI Fund on filing their FCC Form 477 network coverage data as part of their final milestone requirement.
