The FCC has released a public notice soliciting input on competition in the mobile wireless industry for the creation of the Commission’s 20th Annual Report. The FCC requests industry input concerning “the criteria or metrics that could be used to evaluate the state of mobile wireless competition.” Specifically, the Commission seeks information “on industry data, competitive dynamics, and trending factors in the mobile wireless industry, including but not limited to, subscribership numbers, financial indicators (such as revenues or profitability), investment, pricing, and network coverage.” Comments are due on or before Monday, May 8, 2017.
