The FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and Office of Economic and Analytics has adopted an Order requiring Alaska Plan mobile participants to file mobile wireless coverage data consistent with the FCC Form 477 reporting requirements due to the fact that their approved performance plans would not be accurately captured by the BDC data.
These mobile participants will be required to submit their first annual filing, in accordance with the new requirements, by November 15, 2023, for coverage data as of December 31, 2022. For each year after the first annual filing, the annual filing will be due on March 1, reflecting coverage as of the end of the preceding year, through March 1, 2028.
