The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB) is seeking comment on the proposed eligible services list for the E-Rate program for funding year 2024. The E-Rate program is the universal service support mechanism for schools and libraries. WCB made several changes to the eligible services list, including the clarification that consulting fees that are not related to installation and configuration of eligible components are not eligible for E-Rate support.
