The FCC has issued a Notice of Apparent Liability (NAL), alleging that SprintFone Inc.; IJ Wireless, Inc.; Culture Wireless LLC; and Cathect Communications, Inc. allegedly failed to submit certified complete Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) plan and subscribership data in apparent violation of the Commission’s ACP Transparency Data Collection (TDC) rules. The Commission alleges that such providers’ non-compliance with the Commission’s ACP TDC rules gave the Commission and the public an incomplete picture of the ACP services households were receiving. The Commission has proposed a cumulative forfeiture of $470,605.62 apportioned among the four broadband internet access service providers.
