FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has announced the launch of a new “Privacy and Data Protection Task Force,” charged with overseeing the coordination across the FCC on rulemaking, enforcement, and public awareness needs concerning privacy and data protection, including data breaches and supply chain vulnerabilities. FCC Enforcement Bureau Chief Loyaan A. Egal will lead the Task Force.
