The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC or Commission) Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB or Bureau) has partially granted Redwire Inc.’s (Redwire) petition for waiver of the letter of credit (LOC) requirement for the Connect America Fund Phase II auction (Auction 903). The waiver is limited to the first twelve months of Redwire’s support term. The Bureau also granted Fond Du Lac Communications, Inc.’s (Fond Du Lac) petition for waiver of its LOC deadline for Auction 903. Under the Commission’s rules, entities authorized to receive support in Auction 903 must obtain an LOC issued by a qualified bank. Both Redwire and Fond Du Lac will be authorized to receive their Auction 903 support in separate public notices upcoming.
