The FCC has established four complementary grant programs to promote the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP): (1) the National Competitive Outreach Program; (2) the Tribal Competitive Outreach Program; (3) the Your Home, Your Internet Program; and (4) the ACP Navigator Pilot Program. These grant programs will provide funding to community messengers to establish strategies to reach historically unserved and underserved communities and increase overall participation in the ACP. To date, the ACP has ensured that more than 14 million households can afford broadband.
The Commission has issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity for up to $60 million for the National Competitive Outreach Program and $10 million for the Competitive Outreach Program. Applications for these two programs are due January 9, 2023, at 11:59 EST.
