The Federal Communications Commission’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau has issued a public notice announcing that it has updated the FCC’s Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Text-to-911 Readiness and Certification Registry which lists PSAPs that are ready to receive text-to-911 messages. The registry, which first became available last month, can be viewed at http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/psap-text-911-readiness-and-certification.
