The FCC has announced that the next meeting for the Task Force for Reviewing the Connectivity and Technology Needs of Precision Agriculture in the United States (Task Force) will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. EDT. During the meeting, the Task Force will hear presentations on the future of agriculture production and cybersecurity. Additionally, Task Force working group leadership will give updates on their progress.
The Task Force provides the FCC with recommendations and advice on how to evaluate and advance broadband internet access service deployment on unserved agricultural land to encourage precision agriculture.
The Task Force meeting will be open to the public via live feed on the FCC’s website.
