FCC Announces March 14 Workshop on Connect America Fund Phase II Auction Application Process

The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC or Commission) Rural Broadband Auctions Task Force, in conjunction with the Wireless Telecommunications and Wireline Competition Bureaus, will host a workshop on the application process for the Connect America Fund Phase II (CAF II) auction. This workshop will be held on March 14, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm ET, and will include detailed information about the CAF II auction application system. The workshop is open to the public and will be available for viewing online. After the event, a recording will be available for streaming.

Audio and/or video coverage of the meeting will be provided over the internet from the FCC’s web page. Further information about attending the workshop, including a schedule and agenda, will be released later by public notice, as will details about registration and remote viewing. Attendance at the workshop is not a pre-requisite for applying to participate in the auction, but the FCC strongly encourages potential applicants to attend or view the event online.
