The FCC has announced its first batch of accepted broadband service providers into the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. The EBB Program will provide eligible households discounts on broadband service and connected devices by reimbursing participating service providers. 319 providers offering broadband service in all 50 states and some U.S. territories have been accepted to participate in the program. The Commission expects to accept additional providers as more sign up to participate in the program.
