The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) has set an effective date of July 1, 2016, for the 2016 annual access charge tariff filings that must be made by price cap and rate-of-return incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs). Accordingly, ILECs filing tariffs on 15 days’ notice must make their annual tariff filings on June 16, 2016, and ILECs filing tariffs on 7 days’ notice must make their annual tariff filings on June 24, 2016. The Bureau’s order also (1) establishes procedures for filing all tariff-related documents; (2) establishes May 17, 2016 as the date that price cap ILECs must file short form Tariff Review Plans; (3) establishes the dates for filing petitions to suspend or reject an ILEC tariff filing and replies to such petitions; and (4) addresses service of petitions and replies.
