On March 27, 2014, the Federal Communications Commission released a Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (FNPRM) which proposes to extend the freeze of jurisdictional separations category relationships and cost allocation factors in Part 36 of the FCC’s rules for three years, through June 30, 2017. A summary of the FNPRM has been published in the Federal Register, making comments due on or before April 16, 2014, and reply comments due on or before April 23, 2014.
