The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) has released updated reports for the rate-of-return cost model it is developing, the Alternative Connect America Cost Model (A–CAM). Previously, the Bureau released illustrative model results for each rate-of-return study area in the country utilizing a variety of different assumptions in the A-CAM’s support module. These results illustrate seven different scenarios. The new reports reflect updated 2014 high-cost support amounts, showing actual claims for the full calendar year. The updated reports were produced using the same solution set “SSACAM20150302ACAM_1_0_1” as the prior reports and are available here.
