The FCC has adopted an Order updating its antenna tower lighting and marking regulations and harmonizing them with FAA requirements. The order allows tower owners to provide tenants with antenna structure registration information via mail, email and other electronic methods. The Order also streamlines the tower lighting rules by exempting tower owners that use robust, continuous monitoring systems from quarterly physical inspections of their lighting systems.
