The FCC has issued a Public Notice announcing the procedures that Spectrum Access System administrators in the 3.55 GHz – 3.7 GHz (3.5 GHz) must follow to renew their certifications for full commercial deployment. All SAS administrators received approval to operate for a five-year term. The five-year terms for four of the six SAS administrators expire on January 27, 2025. In renewing their terms, SAS administrators must certify that they will satisfy all applicable compliance obligations and file their renewal certification no fewer than 14 days before the expiration of their existing term. Renewal certifications should be filed in the FCC’s ECFS.
