The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has awarded Digital Equity Capacity Grants to Alabama, Utah, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. NTIA has awarded $13.7 million to Alabama to support digital workforce development, expand access to computing devices, and expand online accessibility of government services. NTIA has awarded Utah $7.8 million to establish community digital independence training opportunities. West Virginia has been awarded $9.01 million for a digital skills program and an affordable device program. Additionally, NTIA has awarded Wisconsin $13.2 million for the Digital Navigator Competitive Grant Program and a Digital Navigator Pilot Program for incarcerated individuals.
