The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has granted Resound Networks, LLC a limited waiver of the RDOF service milestone and non-compliance rules and will remove Resound’s obligation to serve certain areas of Oklahoma and Arizona where it overlaps with certain Tribal lands. The FCC has granted this limited waiver in light of an agreement between Resound and the Tonkawa Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma and the Cocopah Tribe of Arizona to promote the Tribes’ decision to serve their own areas through enforceable commitments they have under Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program.
