WCB Announces Availability of Unused Funds to Satisfy RHC Program Demand

The Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) has announced the availability of unused funds to satisfy demand for the Rural Health Care (RHC) Program funding for funding year 2024.  The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) projects that, as of April 30, 2024, $161.57 million in unused funds is available for use in future funding years beginning in funding year 2024.  As such, the Bureau has directed USAC to carry forward up to $161.57 million in unused funds from prior funding years to the extent necessary to satisfy funding year 2024 RHC Program demand.
