The FCC has announced that it will remove Global UC from the Robocall Mitigation Database and its certification for such database.  Due to the inability of Global UC to describe specific reasonable steps it has taken to prevent the origination of illegal robocall traffic, the FCC has determined that Global UC filed a deficient certification and thus has removed it from the database.

All intermediate providers and terminating voice service providers must cease accepting traffic from Global UC within two business data of this Order, (i.e., by Friday, November 25, 2022).  Downstream providers may not block 911 calls and still must make reasonable efforts to not block calls from public safety answering points and government emergency numbers.
