The FCC’s Broadband Data Task Force has announced that interested third-party stakeholders may now begin the process of obtaining a license to access the Broadband Serviceable Location Fabric for the purposes of preparing and submitting challenges through the Broadband Data Collection.  Earlier this year, the Task Force made the Fabric available to internet service providers and state, local, and Tribal governmental entities, but now the Fabric is available to other entities and organizations.

To access the Fabric, each entity must register in the Commission Registration System (CORES), log into the BDC system, and execute a limited end-user license agreement for the Fabric.  More information on the Fabric and the Broadband Data Collection can be found here.
