The FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau seeks to refresh record on proposed rules to enable people with disabilities to access and use interoperable video conferencing services given the greatly increased reliance on video conferencing as an essential communications tool.  Specifically, the Bureau seeks further comment on the kinds of services encompassed by the term “interoperable video conferencing service.”  This follows a 2011 Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking implementing the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010.
