The FCC is seeking comment on various proposed changes to FCC Forms 499-A and 499-Q and their respective instructions for 2022. Form 499-A is the annual worksheet for reporting telecommunications revenues by each April 1, and Form 499-Q is the quarterly worksheet for reporting projected revenues on a quarterly basis. The proposed changes include clarifications that de minimis providers could have indirect contribution obligations through Universal Service Fund (USF) pass-through fees assessed by an underlying wholesale provider and that systems integrators must file Form 499-A, as well as other clarifications and non-substantive updates. Comments on the proposed changes are due by August 1, 2021.
