PSHSB Seeks Comment on Wireless Network Resiliency for Congressional Report

The FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau (PSHSB or Bureau) has released a Public Notice seeking comment on recent efforts by mobile wireless service providers to improve network resiliency to inform a mandated report to Congress.  More specifically, the Bureau seeks comment on how wireless service providers have improved public safety during natural disasters, steps providers have taken to ensure network resiliency, and the costs and benefits of implementing measures to maintain and improve network resiliency.  The report to Congress is due by June 25, 2021.  Comments will be due 20 days after the Public Notice is published in the Federal Register, which has yet to occur.
