The FCC has announced the 386 qualified applicants and non-qualified applicants for the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) Phase I auction (Auction 904) slated to begin October 29, 2020. About one quarter of the of 505 applicants that submitted short-form applicants were deemed non-qualified. Mock auction dates have been posted on the FCC’s Auction 904 website, which for each applicant will be one of October 23, 26, or 27, 2020. Registration materials and auction system tokens currently are being mailed and should arrive by October 20, 2020. The FCC notes that all applicants—both qualified and non-qualified—remain subject to the FCC’s prohibited communications rules.
