The FCC has authorized over $240 million in Connect America Fund Phase II (CAF-II) support from Auction 903 to four companies to bring deploy 25/3 Mbps or faster broadband to over 100,000 locations in in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, Oklahoma, and Wyoming. Consistent with the FCC’s recent CAF-II Streamlining Order, these recipients are subject to the same uniform buildout, certification, and location data reporting deadlines as other CAF-II recipients. The first deadline for CAF-II winners to submit their location data and CAF-II certifications is March 1, 2021, and the first CAF-II service milestone deadline of 40% deployment will be December 31, 2022.
