Universal Service Joint Board Releases Monitoring Report

The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC or Commission) Universal Service Joint Board has released the annual monitoring report focusing on the impact of various universal service support mechanisms and the methods used to finance them. The report attempts to organize data in a way that it is more useful to the public. In 2018, end-user revenues, subject to USF contributions fell to $53,098,000, while USF disbursements rose to $8,481,589. This report incorporates data from both the National Exchange Carrier Association (NECA) and the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC).
