The FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau, in coordination with the Wireline Competition Bureau, have established a portal for Internet service provider (ISP) transparency disclosures as required by the 2018 Restoring Internet Freedom Order. The revised network transparency requirements become effective on June 11, 2018, and require ISPs to publicly disclose network management practices, performance, and commercial terms of their broadband Internet access service either by providing the disclosure on a publicly available, easily accessible website or by submitting it to the FCC for posting. ISPs that choose to submit their required disclosures to the FCC must do so electronically, in a format that is accessible to people with disabilities, through the FCC’s portal at http://www.fcc.gov/isp-disclosures. The portal will be available on May 29, 2018.
