The FCC has denied three applications for review filed by three companies that sought rural broadband experiment support: Rural Broadband Services Corporation (RBSC), Lennon Telephone Company (Lennon), and Last Mile Broadband LLC (Last Mile). After being selected as provisional winners of rural broadband experiment support, RBSC, Lennon, and Last Mile sought Commission review of a Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) order denying their respective petitions for waiver of the financial and technical qualification requirements established by the Commission for winners of support. In its decision to deny the applications for review, the Commission concluded that strict enforcement by the Bureau of the rural broadband experiment requirements was appropriate.
