The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau), on its own motion, granted a brief waiver and extension of the July 2 filing deadline for eligible telecommunications carrier (ETC) annual reporting Form 481. Because the FCC adopted various reforms updating annual reporting requirements for ETCs and approval by Office of Management and Budget of the modified information collection remains pending, the Bureau has extended the deadline by two weeks to Monday, July 16, 2018. The Bureau also reminds ETCs that the extension applies only to Form 481 and that the July 2, 2018 deadline to report rates on the Rate Floor Form remains intact.
