The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC or Commission) Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) has renamed its Spectrum and Competition Policy Division the Competition and Infrastructure Policy Division. Bureau Chief Roger Sherman announced the change earlier this week at the FCC’s Environmental Compliance and Historic Preservation Review Training session. Sherman noted that the change was intended to reflect the division’s increasing focus on, and the importance of, wireless infrastructure.
