The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has adopted an Order on Reconsideration to reconsider, on its own motion, the 2024 National Exchange Carrier Association, Inc. (NECA) Average Schedule Order. Due to an oversight, the 2024 Average Schedule Order was going to be in effect from July 2, 2024 through June 30, 2025, while the 2023 Average Schedule Order is effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. This leaves one day, July 1, 2024, unaccounted for in the NECA average schedule formulas. Thus, the FCC has modified the effective date of the 2024 Average Schedule Order to be July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
