WCB Seeks Comment on Proposed 2023 Average Schedule Formula for High-Cost Loop Support

The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB) has issued a Public Notice announcing that the National Exchange Carrier Association, Inc. (NECA) has filed the 2023 NECA Modification of Average Schedule Universal Service High Cost Loop Support (HCLS) Formula (the Modification) in WC Docket No. 05-337.  The Modification proposes a revised HCLS formula that will be used by Average Schedule companies during calendar year 2023 if it is approved by WCB.  Interested parties may file comments in the docket on or before October 14, 2022; reply comments are due on or before November 1, 2022.
